This policy explains what information the mobile game Sprout King ("the Game") collects, why it is collected, and who it is shared with. The Game is developed and published by Omer Keskin ("we", "us"). Contact: sproutkinggame@gmail.com.

The Game is free to play and supported by advertising. It contains no in-app purchases and does not ask you to create an account.

Information we collect

We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number or postal address. The Game and the third-party services listed below automatically collect the following:

Device advertising identifier — Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS. Used to serve and measure advertising. On iOS the IDFA is only available if you allow tracking when asked.
Device and technical information — device model, operating system version, language, country, screen size, and network type.
IP address — used to determine your approximate country and to serve ads relevant to your region. We do not store it ourselves.
Gameplay events — anonymous, aggregated records of in-game progress, such as regions unlocked, buildings completed, resources gathered, and session length. These are used to understand how the Game is played and where players get stuck.
Advertising events — whether an ad was offered, shown, completed or dismissed.

Game progress is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us.

Why we collect it

To display advertising, which is how the Game is funded.
To measure whether advertising was seen, so that we are paid correctly.
To understand how the Game is played, find bugs and crashes, and improve it.

Who the information is shared with

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it collects:

Yodo1 MAS mediates between several advertising networks, which may include AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Pangle, Mintegral, Chartboost, BidMachine, PubMatic and others. The exact set varies by region and over time. Each network receives your advertising identifier and technical device information in order to select and measure an ad. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

Consent. When you first open the Game, you are asked whether you consent to data collection for advertising. You can decline. Declining means you will see less relevant ads, not no ads.
Advertising identifier. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings — Android: Settings › Google › Ads. iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Email us to make a request.
Deleting everything. Uninstalling the Game removes all locally stored progress. To request deletion of data held by our advertising or analytics partners, email us and we will pass the request on.

Children

The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Analytics and advertising data held by our partners is retained according to their own policies, linked above. We do not operate our own servers and hold no database of players.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the Game's store listing release notes.
